Pre-school language support
Children aged 4.5 to 6 years without a place in a daycare centre can prepare well for starting school in our Schnatterinchen pre-school language development centre.
We playfully develop active and passive vocabulary, reduce language barriers and improve pronunciation and sentence structure. We train fine motor skills and the ability to concentrate and practise working together in a group. We give each child plenty of room for creativity, play and movement as well as socialising with other children. This strengthens their zest for life and learning in preparation for school.
The prerequisite for participation is a language proficiency test from the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family. If a need for support is identified, parents receive a voucher for pre-school language support. We require this for the child's enrolment.
The pre-school language support centre is a statutory service in accordance with Section 55 of the German Education Act. Parents do not incur any costs for the child's care.
