KIDS & CO supports the all-day offerings of schools as part of the bonus or all-day programme with vocational orientation and media education content or in the organisation and implementation of numerous working groups.
Modern media education at Ernst-Haeckel-Oberschule and Victor-Klemperer-Kolleg
The task of KIDS & CO at the Ernst Haeckel School is to develop and supervise alternative learning programmes at the interface between traditional and modern media. A ‘Neothek’ has been set up and is managed as a school centre for reading, learning and new media. We implement creative media projects to accompany lessons, such as the creation of explanatory videos in maths or IT. The student company ‘Radiolar Productions’ was founded, which produces numerous educational and image films under expert guidance in the ‘Haeckelwood Studios’, which were also developed here. Presentation training for exams and exercises for giving presentations are also part of the programme.
At the Victor-Klemperer-Kolleg, our media educator supports the students with presentation tasks (e.g. exam preparation) and teaches them additional media skills. She prepares events, ensures their technical support and supports teachers in the use of modern media.
Career guidance at the Jean Piaget School
With well-qualified apprenticeship trainers, we accompany the WAT and WPU lessons in the areas of kitchen, wood and fashion. We also run a student company and offer work groups for pupils in grades 7 to 10.
