JOKER
Bright, colourful and completely barrier-free rooms invite you to get together with table tennis, table football, billiards, darts, lots of games, creative activities and study groups - from volleyball to football and kendama to cooking, There's something for everyone!
There is attractive play and sports equipment for active exercise in the fresh air all around the building. And at the play centre, everyone can borrow sports equipment, some of it free of charge. Skate ramps, a ball playground, cycle paths in the Wuhletal and a longboard track around the Jelena Santic Peace Park offer plenty of opportunities to try out new things.
The JOKER team regularly organises sports and games on the neighbouring sports field and on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the gym of the Caspar David Friedrich School.
Are you in the mood for greenery? You can garden in our raised beds and turn the fruit and vegetables you harvest into delicious dishes.
We can also organise excursions from time to time - to the animal shelter, climbing, ice skating, the trampoline hall, …your ideas are also welcome!
SENFTE 10
Situated right next to Libertypark as a meeting point for BMXing, inline skating and skateboarding, the sports-orientated children's and youth leisure centre SENFTE 10 offers a fitness room, billiards, darts, table football and table tennis for active leisure activities. But you can also just listen to music, watch, shoot and edit videos, relax, chat or play.
Creative activities such as graffiti and screen printing invite you to try your hand.
If you fancy football, then the football club is the right thing for you.
Equipment such as BMX bikes, inline skates, skateboards and protective clothing, or play and sports equipment such as balls, table tennis paddles, badminton games, skipping ropes, tyres, diabolos, pogo sticks and much more can be borrowed on presentation of a student ID card (or other document). A workshop is also available for small repairs to the equipment.
On their own initiative, young people have created their own club room in the building. It has its own access to the building. This means that the facility can also be used outside of official opening hours. The responsibility for this lies in the hands of the young active people on site.
