Perspektivwerkstatt

The Perspektivwerkstatt is an offer in accordance with § 13 (1 and 2) SGB VIII for the alternative fulfilment of compulsory schooling and in preparation for young people's transition into working life.

We support young people in the process of transitioning from school to training and work:

  • Pupils with school distance in the transition to or in their last year of school,
  • young people between the ages of 16 and 21 who have completed compulsory schooling and (still) lack career prospects.

Our services

  • Individualised help and socio-educational support in coping with everyday problems
  • Development of a reliable daily structure
  • Discovering interests and skills
  • Support in acquiring work-related virtues and social skills
  • Practical vocational orientation in our workshops for metal, wood, paint and home economics
  • Counselling on career and life planning
  • Transition support into employment or training
THE PREREQUISITE FOR PARTICIPATION IS AN IDENTIFIED NEED FOR YOUTH WELFARE SERVICES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 13 SBG VIII FROM THE RESPONSIBLE YOUTH WELFARE OFFICE. IT IS POSSIBLE TO JOIN THE PROJECT AT ANY TIME IF APPROVAL IS GRANTED.
